Pepsi-Cola is a carbonated beverage launched by PepsiCo in the United States. In 1893, American pharmacist Kolbe Bradham invented a carbonated beverage made of carbonated water, sugar, vanilla, raw oil, pepsin and cola nuts, named "Brad Beverage".

On August 28, 1898, Kolbe changed its name to "Pepsi-Cola"; in the same year, the world's first bottle of Pepsi-Cola was born in the United States. On June 16, 1903, it was registered as a trademark. On December 18, 1919, it was listed on the New York Stock Exchange and was called "Loft Inc." at the time.
